2- Good, but not great
I’ve been using the Simple Nursing platform for a month now after finding the YouTube videos very helpful. There are upsides & downsides to the membership. I love the study guides, they are great! Also, there is a nice selection of videos on MOST nursing topics. However, within the video selection, there is a mix of videos recorded from many years ago that have poor quality sound/picture and is a bit disorganized. In the older videos there are moments where Nurse Mike goes into short tangents straying away from the main focus of the topic for a small amount of time. And there are moments where inappropriate slang comes up, like referring to a scenario/situation as being “ret*rded”. Nevertheless, I understand there is so much to cover in nursing and can see why keeping videos from when this company started is helpful for them as it can be costly and time consuming to update. I do not know if I will renew my membership once it is up because I’m finding other competitors to be more attractive for my studying & for my wallet. Simple Nursing is good, but not as great as I thought it would be. I will continue to use this platform as much as I can, but I will recommend for everyone to do their research on which company to use to help get through nursing school. I will use Simple Nursing alongside with LevelupRN to get me through this semester!
